ZTE ZXR10 8900E Series Switches Basic Features
ZXR10 8900E series core switches are high-capacity, high-performance, and high-reliability core switch products launched by ZTE for MANs, enterprise campuses, data centers, and cloud computing networks, supporting rich Layer 2, Layer 3, and MPLS functions with carrier-grade reliability.
The ZXR10 8900E series core switch adopts advanced hardware architecture, fully distributed modular design, and non-blocking switching architecture, providing support for up to 48 10GbE interfaces per slot, 40GE interfaces, and smooth support for 100GE interfaces.
ZXR10 8900E series core switches contain four product forms, 8902E, 8905E, 8908E and 8912E, which provide a variety of choices for the number of service slots, and the service boards are common to each other among different models, which reduces the cost of spare parts and protects the investment.

8900E series core switches support up to 48 10Gb/s interfaces and 8 40GE interfaces per slot, which can be smoothly upgraded to 100GE interfaces, and the whole machine supports up to 576 10Gb/s interfaces and 96 40GE interfaces, which fully meets the requirements of metro convergence and cloud computing data center construction in the context of broadband speed up, and provides continuous upgrading and capacity expansion capability.
