Huawei (Emerson) EPS30-4815AF power supply system is powered by one way utility power. The AC power supply passes through the AC socket and then goes through EMI filtering and enters into the rectifier module, and the DC output of the rectifier module is divided into two sub-circuits to supply power to the loads after summarized by the power distribution unit, and the two sub-circuits are respectively controlled by the fuses of FU-1 (10A) and FU-2 (20A) to provide the user with the protection of the loads against overload and short-circuit in each way. The user's battery is connected to the DC output side of the power system through the battery fuse FU-BT (20A) and the lower contactor KM1, and the battery fuse provides overload and short-circuit protection for the battery.
Under normal conditions, the Huawei (Emerson) EPS30-4815AF system, various parameters of the rectifier module and distribution unit are controlled by the monitoring module, which works according to its predetermined parameters or user commands. If there is a utility failure, the system will be powered by the battery, with the discharge of the battery, the battery terminal voltage starts to drop, when the battery voltage drops to 45V (this is the default value, the background can be set), the monitoring module reports DC undervoltage alarm signal; when the battery voltage drops to the battery protection voltage point (43V (this is the default value, the background can be set)), the monitoring module controls the action of the contactor KM1 to cut off the connection between the power system and the battery, to protect the power system and the battery. When the battery voltage drops to the battery protection voltage point (43V), the monitoring module will control the contactor KM1 to cut off the connection between the power supply system and the battery to protect the battery from over-discharge, and then the power supply system will stop working. When the external utility power is restored, the system will return to normal working condition at the same time (the above monitoring data is the default value of the system, and can be reset by the user).
In addition to the battery discharge protection, the Huawei (Emerson) EPS30-4815AF is also designed with a battery over-temperature protection function: if the battery temperature exceeds the protection point for 30 seconds in a row, the monitoring module will unconditionally control the battery power down until the battery temperature is lower than the recovery point, and an alarm will be generated. Battery over-temperature protection is allowed by default. The battery over-temperature protection point is set from 40 to 70℃ (default is 53℃), and the recovery point is fixed at 5℃ lower than the protection point.
In addition, the power system can collect and report the status of various sensors (temperature, humidity, door magnetism, flooding, smoke sensors, etc.) and standby detection quantities through an external signal adapter box.
