    OSN3500 SSN1PEG8 Functions and Features

    The PEG8 single board supports the processing and forwarding of 8-channel GE services, and supports QoS functions such as traffic statistics, congestion control, and queue scheduling for packets.

    The specific functions and features of the PEG8 single board are shown in Table 1.

    Access and process 8-channel GE optical/electrical signals directly out of the panel.

    • Support 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX, 1000BASE-VX, 1000BASE-ZX optical interfaces, the optical interface adopts LC connector, supporting 0.5km, 10km, 40km, 80km distance transmission.

    • Support CWDM color optical interface, the optical interface adopts LC connector, support 40km and 80km transmission distance.
    • Support DWDM color optical interface, the optical interface adopts LC connector, support 120km transmission distance.
    • Support GE electrical interface, the electrical interface adopts RJ-45 connector, and conforms to IEEE 802.3 1000Base-T physical layer standard.
    Match with Outlet Board
    • It can be used with interface board PETF8/PEFF8/CQ1/MD12/MD75, and each PEG8 veneer board supports access to FE/channelized E1/STM-1 CES services of 2 interface boards at maximum.
    • It can be used with interface board MD12/MD75, and each PEG8 veneer board supports access to ATM/IMA services of 2 interface boards at maximum.
