Protection requirements

OptiX 155/622H Metro1000, as an access layer device, can be mixed with Huawei's Metro series devices and OSN series devices for networking, and supports flexible networking modes such as point-to-point, linear, ring, hub, and mesh, etc. It can realize Ethernet service networking based on packet plane overlaid on TDM network. The OptiX 155/622H can realize packet-plane-based Ethernet service networking overlaid on TDM networks, and as an access layer device, it can be mixed with Huawei's Metro and OSN series devices, supporting flexible networking modes such as point-to-point, linear, ring, hub, and mesh. It supports high-order cross-capacity of 21.25G and low-order cross-capacity of 5G, and can be configured as multiple TM (Terminal Multiplexer), ADM (Add/Drop Multiplexer), or MADM (Multiple Add/Drop Multiplexer) systems, as well as supports service scheduling and protection among multiple systems, which greatly enhances the equipment's performance. It also supports service scheduling and protection between multiple systems, which greatly enhances the networking capability of the equipment and the scheduling capability of inter-network services. The access/aggregation/core layers all contain two independent planes (TDM and packet plane). In the access layer, it includes the TDM service ring (i.e., SDH ring whose maximum rate is STM-1/4) and the packet data service ring (i.e., GE ring). At the aggregation/core layer, the TDM service ring (i.e., SDH ring with a maximum rate of STM-16/64) and the packet data service ring (i.e., 10GE ring) are included. The E1 services at the access layer are first mapped to the SDH ring at the access layer (i.e., the STM-1/4 service ring in the figure), and then aggregated to the SDH ring at the aggregation/core layer (i.e., the STM-16/64 service ring in the figure) through the aggregation node. The FE services of the access layer are first aggregated to the packet data service ring of the access layer (i.e., the GE ring in the figure), and then aggregated to the packet data service ring of the aggregation/core layer (i.e., the 10GE ring in the figure) through the aggregation node.
Access and Service Processing Capability
The SCB cross module of OptiX 155/622H supports a high-order cross capacity of 21.25G (136×136 VC-4) and a low-order cross capacity of 5G (32×32 VC-4). Access capacity: 1.25G services can be accessed in slots 1-3 in TDM plane mode. 622M services can be accessed in slot 4. In packet plane mode, 1.25G services can be accessed in slots 1-3. 5G packet transmission services can be accessed in slot 4 CXP. In packet plane, OptiX 155/622H supports packet-centered service switching. The packet switching capacity supported by OptiX 155/622H is 8G.

Equipment power supply system:
The OptiX 155/622H can be configured with two types of power filter boards, -48V and +24V. The power filter board POI/POU is located on the right side of the OptiX 155/622H unit. There are two power input connectors on the panel of the power filter board, which can access two -48V or two +24V power supplies at the same time, and the two power supplies are backup for each other. The lower right side of the power input connector has a ground terminal for accessing the PGND end of the power cord.
OptiX 155/622H Device Service Board Expansion Area
The OptiX 155/622H Metro1000 plug-in area is used to plug in various service boards. For example, SS49SCB, SS49EFS, SS42OI2D, SS45EGS, SS42PD2T and so on. The device has 5 slots in the insertion area, except for the SCB slot which is fixed for inserting SCB single board, IU1 to IU4 slots can be used for inserting service interface boards, and the height of the panel of IU slots is 24mm.Fig. 1 Slot Distribution of the Device
