Protection requirements

Huawei SDH Equipment_OptixOSN6800_OSN3800 is equipped with aggregation, transmission, and crossover capabilities, supports two-layer dynamic traffic diversion structure (optical cross-connect, ODU cross-connect), integrates the GMPLS intelligent control plane, and possesses the advantages of high-capacity and long-distance transmission of WDM. The platform adopts advanced technologies such as ROADM, tunable optical modules, ASON/GMPLS, 40G, 100G, etc. The architecture is extremely flexible.

Transparent access: The platform adopts ITU-T standard digital packet encapsulation protocol, and can transparently access various protocols such as IP/Ethernet, ATM, SDH, ESCON, etc., and services at various rates such as 16Mbps, 5Gbps, 10Gbps, 40Gbps.
Multi-service transmission: With multi-protocol wavelength technology, the system can transmit different types of services (voice, data, storage and video), which is more in line with the development trend of evolving from TDM to Ethernet/data services.
Flexible scheduling: Dynamic optical cross-connections (multi-dimensional ROADM), flexible electrical layer scheduling (Any ADM), and traffic scheduling mechanisms such as Layer 2 data processing can be provided.
Easy Management: It has the ability of Operable, Manageable, Maintainable and Configurable (OAM&P), as well as the ability of service management such as bandwidth management, aggregation and end-to-end detection.
Intelligent Optical Network: Traditional WDM is statically configured by the maintenance personnel through the network management system, and when the user proposes the need to establish or cancel a certain service, the maintenance personnel can only manually connect and remove it at the scene, which is very inefficient. Automatic Switching Optical Network (ASON) can automatically establish and dismantle switching connections on demand, realizing rapid deployment of services.
Clock: Provides 2M, 1588 V2 and synchronous Ethernet clock delivery, fully meeting the clock accuracy requirements of WCDMA, TD-SCDMA, CDMA2000 and LTE/LTE-A.
