| Basic Functions |
- When used with the interface board, accesses and processes 8-channel sub-rate/8-channel N x 64kbit/s (1 ≤ N ≤ 31), 8-channel Framed E1, and 8-channel G.703 64kbit/s coaxial services.
- When wired directly from the panel, access and process 8-way PCM services, including:
- 2-way RS-232 and 2-way RS-485 subrate services.
- 2 voice analog signals on FXS/FXO interfaces.
- 2 channels of 2/4-wire audio and E&M signaling.
|
| Port Mode |
Supports port operating mode settings:
- Framed E1: Supports PCM30 (CAS), PCM31 (CCS).
- Serial port: DTE, DCE. (Only N×64kbit/s, sub-rate service supports port working mode setting, G.703 64kbit/s coaxial service is not supported.)
- ATI port: 1E1M.
- FXS/FXO port: FXS and FXO are supported.
Description:
The N3DX1 single board needs to set the port working mode to PCM30 (CAS) when configuring hot line service, Z interface extension service, 2/4-wire audio and E&M trunk service.

| Ports |
- External Ports: DDN-1 to DDN-32, identifying 32 external ports. External ports include ports on the DM12 interface board and ports on the N3DX1 single board.
- Outgoing wires are routed through the DM12 interface board:
- Framed E1 port number: 1 to 8, corresponding to the E1 (1-8) port on the DM12 single board with the smaller slot number of the two DM12 interface boards.
-
N x 64 kbit/s or subrate port numbers: 9 to 16, where 9 to 12 correspond to the DDN1 to DDN4 ports on the DM12 interface board with the smaller slot number, and 13 to 16 correspond to the DDN1 to DDN4 ports on the DM12 interface board with the larger slot number.
The access rate is same/asynchronous (0.6kbit/s, 1.2kbit/s, 2.4kbit/s, 4.8kbit/s, 9.6kbit/s, 19.2kbit/s, 38.4kbit/s, 48kbit/s) and synchronous (56kbit/s) for the subrate; if you access the other asynchronous subrate, it supports oversampling transmission ( The port is configured as synchronous at 4 times or more of the access rate).
- G.703 64kbit/s isotropic port numbers: 17 to 24, corresponding to the E1 (1-8) ports on the DM12 single board with the larger slot number among the two DM12 interface boards.
- Outgoing wires through N3DX1 panel:
- RS-485 (asynchronous subrate) Port No.: 25 to 26, corresponding to the RS485 port on the N3DX1 panel; the access rate at subrate is 0.6 kbit/s, 1.2 kbit/s, 2.4 kbit/s, 4.8 kbit/s, 9.6 kbit/s, 19.2 kbit/s, 38.4 kbit/s, and 48 kbit/ s.
- RS-232 (asynchronous sub-rate) port number: 27-28, corresponding to the RS232 port on the N3DX1 panel; the access rate is 0.6kbit/s, 1.2kbit/s, 2.4kbit/s, 4.8kbit/s, 9.6kbit/s, 19.2kbit/s, 38.4kbit/s, and 48kbit/s for sub-rate. s.
- FXS/FXO port number: 29 to 30, corresponding to FXSO 1 and FXSO 2 ports on the N3DX1 panel.
- E&M and 2/4-wire port number: 31 to 32, corresponding to EM 1, EM 2 ports on the N3DX1 panel.
- Internal Ports: 2M-1 to 2M-63, identifying the 63 E1 internal ports, internal port time slots 1 to 31 (PCM30 (CAS) mode does not support 16 time slots), and port numbers 65 to 127.
Description: The N3DX1 internal and external port diagram is shown in Figure 1.

| Service Processing |
- One N3DX1 can be paired with two DM12s to realize 8-channel sub-rate/8-channel N×64kbit/s, 8-channel Framed E1 and 8-channel G.703 64kbit/s coaxial service access.
- Directly out of the panel, access and process 8-way PCM services.
- Handles 63-way system-side E1 signaling at 64K level crossover.
- Supports "E1-subrate" and "E1-E1" 8K level crossover, does not support "subrate-subrate" 8K level crossover.
-
Sub-rate service, supports X.50 D3 and V.110 encapsulation modes.
Sub-rate of X.50 D3 encapsulation mode: same/asynchronous (2.4kbit/s, 4.8kbit/s, 9.6kbit/s, 19.2kbit/s, 48kbit/s).
V.110 encapsulation method sub-rate: same/asynchronous (0.6kbit/s, 1.2kbit/s, 2.4kbit/s, 4.8kbit/s, 9.6kbit/s, 19.2kbit/s, 38.4kbit/s) and synchronous (48kbit/s, 56kbit/s).
- N x 64kbit/s services: V.35, V.24, X.21, RS-449, RS-530, RS-530A.
- Support PCM Conference and multiplexer group service processing.
- Supports signaling and service correlation.
-
No control: no association.
-
Receiving signaling: when the port receiving status M line is idle, the audio service sent to the cross direction is invalid; when the M line is busy, the audio service is normal.
-
Send signaling: when the audio service from the cross direction is invalid, the port sends the status E line idle; when the service is valid, the E line is busy.
-
Receive and send signaling: associated with both receive and send directions. Description: When the working mode is 2E2M, if association is performed, only the first E&M is processed.

| Alarm and Performance |
Provides rich alarm and performance events for easy device management and maintenance. |
| Maintenance Features |
- Supports the inner loopback and outer loopback functions of the electrical interface.
- Supports PRBS function, see Availability.
- Supports CRC function.
|
| Connectors |
- When the N3DX1 is used with the DM12 board, the N×64kbit/s and sub-rate service signals are accessed through the DB28 connector on the DM12 board; the DB44 interface on the DM12 board accesses the Framed E1 and G.703 64kbit/s coaxial service signals.
- When N3DX1 is used alone, it accesses RS-232 sub-rate service and RS-485 sub-rate service through RJ-45 connector.
- When the N3DX1 is used alone, the voice analog signal is accessed through the RJ-11 connector.

| Protection Mode |
