The OSN3500 SSN1SL1A optical interface board belongs to the line veneer board, which realizes the reception and transmission of STM-1 optical signals. Through this single board, the Huawei SSN1SL1A sends the received optical signals to the crossover side after O/E conversion, while the electrical signals on the crossover side are sent out after E/O conversion.

SSN1SL1A realizes the reception and transmission of 1-channel STM-1 optical signals, completes the photoelectric conversion of STM-1 signals, the extraction and insertion processing of overhead bytes, and reports the alarms generated on the line.

Basic Functions	Receive and transmit 1 channel STM-1 optical signal.
Optical Interface Specifications	Supports the standard optical interfaces of I-1, S-1.1, L-1.1, L-1.2, and Ve-1.2, of which the characteristics of the optical interfaces of I-1, S-1.1, L-1.1, and L-1.2 are in accordance with the recommendations of ITU-T G.957, and the optical interface of Ve-1.2 is a Huawei customized standard.
Optical Module Specifications	Supports optical module information detection and query. Supports the use and monitoring of SFP pluggable optical modules, facilitating the maintenance and upgrade of optical modules. The optical interface provides laser on and off settings and laser automatic shutdown function. Support single-fiber bi-directional optical modules, single-fiber bi-directional optical modules do not support the use of pigtails for optical interface loopback.
Business Processing	Support VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 services.
Overhead processing	Supports segment overhead processing for STM-1 signals. Supports processing of channel overhead (transparent transmission and termination). Supports setting and querying of J0/J1/C2 bytes. Supports 1 channel ECC communication.
Alarm and Performance	Provides rich alarm and performance events for easy device management and maintenance.
Protection Mode	Supports two-fiber multiplexing segment ring protection, four-fiber multiplexing segment ring protection, linear multiplexing segment protection, SNCP protection, SNCTP protection and SNCMP protection.
Maintenance features	Supports inner loopback and outer loopback functions at the optical port level. Supports VC-4 channel inner loopback and outer loopback functions. Support soft reset and hard reset, soft reset does not affect the service. Support the query function of veneer manufacturing information. Support FPGA online loading function. Support smooth upgrade of veneer software. Support one-button data acquisition.
