Huawei OptiX OSN3500 equipment in the engineering stage, due to the SXCSA single-board logic board configuration for SSN1EXCSA, resulting in the inability to meet the low-order interspersed capacity, showing the low-order service downstream failure, through the reconfiguration of the logic board for SSN1SXCSA02 to deal with the problem.

In the final stage of the project, the interspersed board of Huawei OptiX OSN 3500 equipment at each site is SSN1SXCSA02, but after the network management inquires about the logical single board of each equipment, the local sites show that the interspersed board is N1EXCSA, and because the low-order interspersed capacity of N1EXCSA is lower than that of N1SXCSA, it results in failure of the low-order interspersed service issuance of this equipment.

Can be attributed to: the beginning of the residual game did not query the physical board, but manually add a single board caused by the host version mismatch or single board problems. Detailed steps are described below:

(a) query OptiX OSN 3500 equipment network management operation records, the beginning of the residual game is completed by querying the physical board position, calibration start, not manually add. Query the interspersed board veneer software: 7.11, host software 5.21.18.12, version matching.

(b) the network management of the main and standby interspersed board EXCSA to stop the reversal test, the reversal is normal. Delete the Huawei OptiX OSN3500 10-slot standby interpolation board and manually add it as the SXCSA cross board, and the main control board alarm shows: WRG_BD_TYPE, and the 10-slot alarm shows: the device board is not different from the actual board. Soft reset the 10-slot SXCSA cross-clocking board, the board is working normally.

(C) Main and backup reversal, refer to step 2 to complete the operation of adding SXCSA veneer in the main board position.

Optical Transmission Network Technology technician's note: Huawei OptiX OSN3500 device SXCSA supports single-board compatible replacement function, N1SXCSA single-board compatible replacement function in V100R008, V100R009 and later host versions can be configured with the logical board type N1SXCSA02, SSN1EXCSA or SSN1UXCSA, and the N1SXCSA single-board compatible replacement function in V100R008, V100R009, and later host versions. Host versions prior to V100R008 can be configured with logic board types SSN1EXCSA or SSN1UXCSA.
