Problem Description

BUS_ERR is reported on the cross over of a master subrack with an extension subrack cable, and the third parameter of the BUS_ERR alarm is 0x80. Processing Procedure

1、Explanation of the alarm:

A. The third parameter is 0x80, which means that the expansion line connected to the cross single board is not connected.

B. The first parameter may be 0x11, 0x12, 0x13, 0x14. 0x11, 0x12 are the lower DB header cables of the XCE veneer board; 0x13, 0x14 are the upper DB header cables of the XCE veneer board.

Root cause

1, the cable is not connected

2, XCS single board DB interface bad

3、XCE single board BD interface bad

Solution

1、Connect the cable

2、Replace the XCS single board

3、Replace XCE single board
