Huawei OSN3500 SSN1SLH1 is a 16-channel STM-1 signal processing board. The single board consists of a clock data recovery module, an SDH overhead processing module, a logic control module, and a power supply module. External services are accessed by interface boards EU08/OU08, where EU08 is for electrical interface access and OU08 is for optical interface access. It supports the processing of channel overhead (transparent transmission and termination) and the setting and querying of J0/J1/C2 bytes. Supports 1~16-channel ECC communication. The first eight optical ports support ECC communication in D1 to D12 channel mode, and the last eight optical ports support ECC communication in D1 to D3 channel mode.

TPS is a device-level protection that protects the access signals by bridging the signals to the protection board when the working board fails. This avoids triggering more complex network-level protection, such as MSP, SNCP, etc., and increases the reliability of the device. The singleboard can be used in conjunction with EU08 and TSB8 boards to realize 1 set of 8-way/16-way STM-1 telecom signals 1:N (N≤3) TPS protection.
