Problem Description

OSN1500B, single board configuration (as shown in the figure OSN1500B configure board panel.JPG), when you open the network element control panel, found that 17 # D12S display is not normal. With the command line :cfg-get-board and :cfg-get-phybd query results as attached (1.txt).17 #D12S single board physical board query can not be. Avoidance Solution .

Adjust the slot configuration of the existing network. If a processing board with interface board (for example, pd1 ) is inserted in slot 8, then a single board with EFT8 is not inserted in slot 13 at the same time; if a single board with EFT8 is inserted in slot 13, then a processing board with interface board (for example, pd1 ) is not inserted in slot 8 at the same time.

If slot 7 inserts a processing board with an interface board (e.g., pd1 ), then slot 12 does not also insert an EFT8 single board; if slot 12 inserts an EFT8 single board, then slot 7 does not also insert a processing board with an interface board (e.g., pd1 ).

Fundamental solution .

Root cause

The up and down line of the interface board is that the host software queried the status of its interface board to the processing board at regular intervals, and after locating the software processing there is a problem. The data board EFT8, when receiving the host querying the status of the interface board, reported more than one, more than one is an empty board type, the host processing will be 17 slots position offline, the 8 board will be placed on the line of 17, so that the cycle of processing led to the 17 slots can not be on the line.
