Problem Description

The data veneer board SSR1EFT4, which is used on OSN1500A, OSN1500B, and OSN2500, downgrades the veneer supporting software version so that the logical version changes from 110 or 120 to 100, and the veneer may fail to initialize the chip SD575, and the veneer service is not available. If the single board is equipped with VC3/VC12 level services, the TU_LOP_VC3/TU_LOP_VC12 alarm will be reported and the services will not be available.

Alarm information

If the board is equipped with VC3/VC12 level services, TU_LOP_VC3 and TU_LOP_VC12 alarms are reported.

Processing

If both of the following conditions are met, the problem can be confirmed:

1. The logical version of SSR1EFT4 board changes from 110 or 120 to 100;

Query the version information of SSR1EFT4 board under Navigator:

:cfg-get-bdverinfo:bid ( bid is the board number)

Logic Version : (U3)100

2、 In the case of service configuration, the board shows abnormal alarms such as TU_LOP_VC3/ TU_LOP_VC12 , and the service is not available;

Problem solution:

SSR1EFT4 version is restored to the supporting software before downgrading, i.e., the logical version of the single board is restored to 110 or 120.

Root Cause

The 100 logical version of the single board has a small timing margin on the SD575 control, and on a small number of SSR1EFT4 single boards the SD575 timing is wrong due to the hardware difference, and the SD575 cannot be initialized normally.

Recommendation and Summary

Do not downgrade the SSR1EFT4 to versions below V1R3B052; ensure that you use V1R3B052 and later versions of the software, and ensure that the logic version is 110 or 120.
