Problem description
Networking: OSN3500 equipment SLQ4 single board under the hanging of the new station OSN1500B equipment, OSN1500 equipment single board for the main control cross line unity CXLLN.

Failure phenomenon: OSN3500 equipment query optical power, light collection is normal, but ECC link management can not view OSN1500, SLQ4 optical board DCC collection failure.

Processing
1、View and test the optical power, both ends of the collection of light are within the normal range;
2、View OSN3500 equipment allocation DCC channel number and D1-D3 byte, set normal, prohibit enabling the optical port DCC, the fault remains; optical board plus light decay self-loop observation found that the DCC collection is normal, the scene using other STM-4 rate optical board docking, the DCC send and receive normal, to rule out OSN3500 equipment problems. Equipment problems;
3, to the OSN1500 equipment site, cm-get-eccroute view upstream equipment, cm-get-chaninfo view has been assigned to the DCC channel number, cm-get-fiberport view of the optical port DCC, for the "enable" state, disable enable observation. The failure is still the same. Add light attenuation self-loop to observe the DCC collection is normal. After the primary and backup CXLLN boards are swapped, the fault remains.
4, the collection of basic information, cfg-get-board query found that the type of optical board for the SSQ1SL1 single board, but the physical STM-4 rate of the optical module. The reason is found that the logical single-board rate mode is not consistent with the optical module rate. After using cfg-del-board and cfg-add-board to add the optical board type as SSQ1SL4 single board, the DCC and ECC are normal, and the network management monitors the OSN1500 devices normally.

Suggestions and Summary
1、Network element new opening needs physical optical module rate and network management configuration logical single board rate is consistent, this problem due to the unprotected chain caused by the downstream site off the management, can not check the actual alarms of the network element; at the same time, the new opening needs to be verified at both ends of the network element detailed alarms.
2. When the network element is newly opened, the optical board rate of the upstream and downstream network elements should be the same.
