Problem Description
OSN3500 device SL16 can insert 4/15 slots under 120G crossover (FXCSA), but not under 200G crossover.
The SL16 boards can be placed in the following slots .
When the cross-capacity is 40Gbit/s, SSN3SL16 board can be inserted in slots 6~8, 11~13 of the subrack.
When the cross-capacity is 120Gbit/s, SSN3SL16 boards can be inserted in slots 4~8, 11~15 of the subrack.
When the cross-capacity is 80Gbit/s or 200Gbit/s, SSN3SL16 boards can be inserted in slots 5~8, 11~14 of the subrack.
Solution
SSN3SL16 single board itself has 4 buses, each with 622M bandwidth. However, under 200G crossover , the buses connected to slot 4/15 are 2 buses , while4 buses are needed to plug in SSN3SL16 single board, so it can't support SSN3SL16 single board. Meanwhile, if SSN4SLQ16 single board is inserted, SSN4SLQ16 single board itself also has 4 buses, and the bandwidth of each bus is 2.5G. Under 200G crossover, slot 4/15 can support SSN4SLQ16 single board, but it can only support 2 optical ports.
When using FXCSA, this single board special , will make the 4/15 slot backplane bus will be connected to 4 buses , soSSN3SL16 single board can be plugged into these two slots.
