Huawei OSN1500B optical transmission adopts the information structure class called synchronous transmission moduleSTM-N(N=1,4, 16,64), and the most basic module isSTM-1;

(1 ) HuaweiOSN1500Boptical transmission uses a block-like frame structure to carry information, and each frame consists of9vertical rows and 270×Nhorizontal columns of bytes, with each byte containing8 bits, and the entire frame structure is divided into a segment overhead zone, anSTM-Nnet load zone, and a management unit pointer zone, where the segment overhead zone is mainly used to ensure that the information can be transmitted normally and flexibly;

(2 ) The net load area is used to store the bits that are really used for information service; the management unit pointer is used to indicatethe exact position ofthe first byte of the information in the net load area within theSTM-Nframe so that the net load can be correctly separated at the time of reception.
