The Optix OSN9800 100Gbit/s metro solution consists of two types: a coherent solution and an incoherent solution.
Coherent Solution
As shown in Figure 1, the single board transmits one OTU4 signal through one coherent wavelength, and adopts SDFEC2 coding to improve OSNR performance and realize 100 Gbit/s metro solution.
The 100 Gbit/s coherent metro solution has the following features:
1, large capacity.
2. Low latency.
Non-coherent solution
The 100 Gbit/s non-coherent metro solution is realized in the optical subrack, and the supported single boards include LSCM.
As shown in Figure 2, the LSCM single board transmits an OTU4 signal all the way through four wavelengths, and adopts HFEC coding to improve OSNR performance and realize the 100 Gbit/s metro solution.
The 100 Gbit/s incoherent metro solution has the following characteristics:
1. low cost.
2, low power consumption.
3. low latency.
