Solution

MSTP equipment cross board upgrade operation:

1. Delete the spare crossover logical board on the network management, and after replacing the new crossover board, add the logical board on the network management.

2. Query the current alarm of the network element, and when the HSC_UNAVAIL alarm disappears, then carry out the master and backup inversion.

3. Delete the primary crossover logical board on the network management, and add the logical board on the network management after replacing the new crossover board.

4. Query the current alarm of the network element, when the HSC_UNAVAIL alarm disappears, the replacement of the primary crossover is completed.

5. Verify that the primary backup and primary cross-replacement is normal.

There is a 50MS flash-off for the service in the crossboard master-standby switchover, and it is recommended to apply for a safe time to operate.
