The EFT veneer of Huawei Metro500 and the EFS veneer of Metro1000V3 device are open to EPL service, and the port ports of EFT and EFS are directly connected to the switch, which is configured with two services with VLANs, of which one service has a VLAN of 308 and the other service has a VLAN of 1. After configuring the services on the transmission, the port attributes of the EFS veneer are set to tagware for both vctrunk and PORT, and it is found that the service with VLAN 308 is through, but the service with VLAN 1 is not. vctrunk and the port attribute of PORT are set to tagware, and it is found that the service with VLAN 308 is through, but the service with VLAN 1 is not through.

Processing

1. When you change the port attribute of the EFS single board to access, you find that the service with VLAN 1 can be opened, but the service with VLAN 308 cannot be opened;

2. When you change the attribute of the EFS single-board port to hybrid, you find that the service with VLAN 1 and VLAN 308 can be opened;

3. When the maintenance engineer of the switch modifies the default VLAN of the switch to other than 1, when the port attribute of the EFS board is TAGWARE, the services with VLAN 1 and VLAN 308 can be opened.

Root Cause

Some switches, when the vlan is set to 1, i.e., under its default VLAN, the output messages are not tagged with VLANs, regardless of whether they are trunk or untag ports.

Solution

Change the default VLAN of the switch to something other than 1 or change the VLANID.
