Huawei has generated a master-standby inversion for a four-point ring composed of OSN3500 devices Metro3000 and OSN9500 with an OSN3500 SXCSA cross board abnormality, and at the same time there is an inversion in the multiplexing segment, but this point is thrown out, causing service interruption at this site.

The specific hardware faults are: board 9 has a CHIP_FAIL alarm indicating that the 1st SD606 chip is abnormal; in which since July, other single boards (10 cross boards, 8 and 11 line boards) have frequently detected the instantaneous BD_STATUS of board 9, and there is a fault in the in-position detection logic of board 9.
Root cause
Hardware failure of the Huawei OSN3500 SXCSA crossover veneer board in slot 9 resulted in an abnormal inversion of the multiplexing segment, and an abnormal veneer in-place state when board 9 was the main board resulted in an inability to process the K-bytes and events reported by the line board.
Solution
Replace the No. 9 cross-single board.
