Process

1. Check that the optical paths of neighboring stations are normal, there are no abnormal alarms, and there are no error codes.

2. Check the parameter settings of the network elements are correct, and there is no problem in the selection of gateway network elements, and re-create the fault manually.

3. Check the ECC link management of the upstream site of the site, you can see the network element and the distance is 0. Check the ECC link of the gateway network element, you can also see the network element.

4. Use the search method to create a network element on the network management, and find that the network element can be searched, but when clicking Create, it still prompts that the background is busy.

5. Use the navigator command line tool to log in to the network element, can not be logged in normally, indicating that the network element ECC routing is indeed anomalous, to rule out the possibility of network management software failure.

6. The device network is shown in the figure below:

A network element for the gateway network element, D network element for the fault network element, in the A gateway ECC link management to view, the distance is 1, A-D network element normal distance should be 2, refresh a few times the distance is still 1, view the B network element ECC link management, found that the B network element to the D network element there is an increase in the manual ECC routing.

7. After deleting the artificial route of B network element, the fault is restored and the network element can be created normally.

Root Cause

Due to the existence of an artificial Huawei OSN1500 device ECC that reaches the failed network element in the intermediate network element, the ECC route from the gateway to the failed network element is unreachable, and thus the network element cannot be created.

Solution

After deleting the artificial Huawei transmission device ECC route, the network element is created normally.
