Laser Switch

Displays or sets the interface laser switch status.

Only the SDH optical interface board supports this parameter. Normally, the setting is "On".

Optical (Electrical) Interface Loopback

No Loopback, Inner Loopback, Outer Loopback

Default: No loopback

Displays or sets the loopback status of the SDH interface.

  • "No loopback" means cancel or do not perform loopback operation.
  • "Inner loopback" means loopback the SDH signal sent to the opposite end.
  • "External loopback" means loopback of the received SDH signal.

This function is generally used for fault localization of each SDH interface. "Optical (electrical) port loopback" is a diagnostic function, and its use will affect the service of the relevant port, so please use it with caution.

VC4 Channel

Displays or sets the "Auto Off" status of the laser.

Laser auto shutdown is a function to shut down the laser automatically when the optical interface does not carry service, fiber failure, or loss of received optical signal.

When "Allow" is set, "On Time (ms)", "Off Time (ms)" and "Long On Test Time (ms)" can be set. ".

On Time (ms)

1000~3000 in steps of 10.

Display or set the time to test whether the fiber is normal or not after turning off the laser, if it is an automatic turning on of the laser.

Off Time (ms)
