Description of the problem
The SXCSA crossover board enters the bios state after OSN3500 upgrade, and the master reports the BIOS_STATUS alarm (the first parameter indicates the slot number of the board in the bios state), and the crossover reports the COMMUN_FAIL alarm.

Root cause
For SSN1GXCSA, SSN1EXCSA, SSN1UXCSA, SSN1UXCSB single boards, the base BIOS version of 2.13 and before does not support the extended BIOS version of 2.32 and later (R8 and later), so if the base BIOS before the SSN1GXCSA, SSN1EXCSA, SSN1UXCSA, SSN1UXCSB 单板升级前的基础BIOS为2.13及之前的版本,而目标版本的扩展BIOS为2.32及之后的版本,此时应先升级基本BIOS(确保待升级基本BIOS目标版本为2.14及之后),再进行模拟包升级。 Otherwise, it will cause the single board to enter the BIOS state because the old base BIOS is not compatible with the new extended BIOS.
Solution
Load the r3 version of the simulation package and upgrade only the problematic cross boards, do not select the other veneers:
If the simulation package can not be loaded, then use the board level way to load the r3 version of the veneer software, if there is no problematic veneer in the list, then "Add Veneer..."
After upgrading, first use the board-level method to upgrade the base bios of the r8 version of the problematic veneer, and then upgrade the problematic veneer to the r8 version by using the analog package or the board-level method after the upgrade is completed.
Suggestion and Summary
Upgrade the base BIOS first (make sure the target version of the base BIOS to be upgraded is 2.14 and later), and then upgrade the emulation package.
