Description of the problem

After OSN3500 multiplexed segment inversion, the service is interrupted and AU_AIS alarm is reported.

Processing

1. Issue the following alarm to the line veneer of the inverted network element and the pass-through network element:alm-get-insertalm

2. The channel through which the interrupted service passes has AU_AIS alarms inserted.

Root cause

When the cross veneer canceled the multiplexed segment suppression command to the line veneer, some of the commands were lost due to too many commands issued at one point in time. The line veneer suppresses the residue.

Solution.

De-activate the activation operation for the interrupted service, or restart the reuse segment protocol for the located network element.

Recommendations and Summary

It is recommended that a reversal test be performed for each cycle of the multiplexed segment.
