Solution
There are three main cases of MSTP device DCC pass-through:
Huawei's equipment is located in the center of the network, and other vendors' equipment is located at both ends of the network, and they all use their own network management systems to manage the network through D1 to D3 bytes. In this case, Huawei equipment supports the transparent transmission of DCC bytes from other vendors by deploying D1 to D3 bytes from other vendors' equipment into any three consecutive bytes from D4 to D12.
2. Huawei equipment is located at both ends of the network, while other vendors' equipment is located in the center of the network, and all of them use their respective network management systems to manage the network through D1 to D3 bytes. In this case, the Huawei equipment supports the deployment of its own D1 to D3 bytes into any three consecutive bytes from D4 to D12 to realize the transparent transmission of the Huawei equipment's management information through the equipment of other vendors.
3. Transparently transmit other overhead bytes, such as E2, F1, X1 to X4, etc., through the free D byte.
MSTP device DCC transmission setting method:
1. Close or delete the docking port DCC channel.
2. Click the network element in the Network Element Manager, and then select "Communication > DCC Management" in the Function Tree.
3. Select "DCC Transmission Management".
4. Click "New", the system pops up the "Create DCC Passthrough Bytes" dialog box.
5. Set the parameters of the transparent transmission overhead byte.
