Description of the problem

Due to the business need to expand the capacity of 2.5G to 10G, first set up a 10G ring, then cut the service from the 2.5G ring to the 10G ring, and then exit the 2.5G ring, and find that the 10G optical board can not query the optical power during the debugging of the 10G ring, with no abnormal alarms, and the service is normal.

Processing

1、Check the 15-minute and 24-hour performance monitoring of the device, both have been opened, and the opening time has been more than 15 minutes, in addition to the optical power can not be queried, the performance of the SL64 board can not be queried, the network management prompts the system is busy.

2, query station A original SL16 board optical power and performance are normal, to rule out the possibility of a problem with the main control board, it should still be SSN4SL64 board problems.

3, check B, C station SSN4SL64 board optical power and performance, the phenomenon is the same, D station SSN4SL64 board optical power and performance query are normal.

4、三个站的SSN4SL64同时坏的可能性很小，怀疑是版本配套问题，查询A,B,C,D的主控版本，A,B,C的主控版本为5.21.32.52，D站的主控版本为5.21.20.55，SSN4SL64板的版本都为8.05，查询配套表：主控版本5.21.32.52, SSN4SL64 supporting version is 10.72, the master version is 5.21.20.55, SSN4SL64 supporting version is 8.05, so the D station query optical power and performance are normal.

5、Upgrade the SSN4SL64 software of station A,B,C to 10.72, and the query optical power and performance are normal.

Root cause

The main control version and SSN4SL64 board software version do not match.

Solution

Upgrade the SSN4SL64 board software to match the master version.
