Description of the problem

In network maintenance, sometimes we need to know the real ECC path between two NG-SDH devices.

Solution

1. To view the ECC route between two NG-SDH devices, first enter into one of the Network Element Managers, go to Communication - ECC Link Management menu, you can see the lower right corner select Reachability Test, as shown below:

Select traceroute, and then set the target network element in the pop-up dialog box to start the test, as shown in the following figure:

All the network elements through which the ECC routes of the two network elements pass are displayed in the test result.

2. the network element reachability test feature is supported starting with release V100R010C02 and is not supported in all releases.
