OSN3500 device tributary boards cannot switch timeslot mode after configuring PQ1 2M services

OSN3500 equipment branch board PQ1 mainly carries SDH low-order business VC12, generally used in the access layer, the access customer is 2M business multiplexing to high-order container VC4 and then transmitted on the line, the current PQ1 single board has N1 and N2 two functional versions, the main difference between the two versions is that different versions of the single board functions are different. The N1PQ1 single board has been discontinued. The single board belongs to the PDH processing board, can be used in OptiX OSN series equipment to realize the PDH signal up/down processing, PQ1 single board must be used in conjunction with the interface board, to complete the 63-channel E1 signal access and processing. The single board supports E1 signal processing, overhead processing, alarm and performance events, maintenance features, and TPS protection. In the configuration of 2M services will also show a variety of failures, the following is an example of a case encountered in the configuration of low-order services.

Case Scenario:

OSN3500 devices docked with third-party manufacturers' equipment, and when using T2000V1R8 to configure 2M services, users feedback that Huawei's equipment time slot number is inconsistent with the L equipment, which leads to troublesome allocation of services, and they also have to play a correspondence table. Huawei engineers modified the time slot mode of the OSN3500 to the L mode and found that it was not successful.

The timeslot mode of OSN3500 network elements cannot be switched.

Processing

1. Check that the current display mode on the T2000 is Huawei mode.

2... Clear the low-order services and reset the time slot mode.

3. After modifying the VC12 time slot numbering policy through the command line, you need to upload or query the attributes of the network element on the network management in a timely manner.

Failure causes

1. When using our transmission equipment to interface with the transmission equipment of other manufacturers for the up and down of 2M branch circuits, it often happens that some problems occur that bring inconvenience to the interface and maintenance work due to the difference in time slot identification.

2. The T2000V1R8 service configuration view shows whether the current time slot mode is "sequential (Huawei mode)" or "interpolation (Lucent mode)".

3. Switching the VC12 timeslot numbering policy on the T2000 only changes the timeslot switching display in the network management, and has no effect on the network elements. If you need to change the VC12 time slot numbering policy on the network element equipment, you can only set it through the command line, and there is no functional entry in the network management at present. However, after modifying the VC12 time slot numbering policy through the command line, you need to upload or query the attributes of the network element on the network management in a timely manner.

4. At present, the software provides two commands for setting and querying the time slot mode: cfg-set-servicemode and cfg-get-servicemode, among which the parameters of the command for setting the time slot mode are slot and line, that is, the commands corresponding to "time slot mode" and "line mode". "line mode" or "Huawei mode" or "LongXun mode", the default is Huawei mode.

5. Restriction: If the 2M tributary board has been equipped with low-order services, you cannot switch the time slot mode of the network element.
