OSN3500 RPR single board has and only has 2 VCTRUNKs on SDH side, for VC4 level service, VCTRUNK1 must be bound to odd (1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 11, 13, 15) time slot number among 1 to 16 time slots, and VCTRUNCK2 must be bound to even (2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16) time slot number. For VC3 level service, VCTRUNK1 can only select VC4-1 for "optional resources" and VC3-1 and VC3-2 for "optional time slots"; VCTRUNK2 can only select VC3-1 and VC3-2 for "optional resources"; VCTRUNK2 can only select VC3-1 and VC3-2 for "optional resources". For VCTRUNK2, "optional resources" can only be selected from VC4-2, and "optional time slots" can only be selected from VC3-1 and VC3-2. When configuring, you need to ensure that all nodes on the entire RPR ring network have the same bandwidth for the single-ring configuration, and you need to follow the above binding principles for VCTRUNK binding.

Phenomenon Description
The services of the RPR ring network are connected, and the RPR_PS_CHANGE alarm is reported, and the RPR ring network is inverted.
Cause Analysis
The probable cause of the above failure phenomenon is the loss of VCTRUNK time slot.
Procedure
- Enable the LCAS protocol of the corresponding connected Ethernet board to detect whether each time slot works normally. If the time slots are corrupted, the LCAS protocol deletes them from VCTRUNK.
- Query the actual bound timeslots of VCTRUNK and the configured timeslots, if they do not match, the damaged VC4 timeslots have been deleted by the LCAS protocol. The alarm disappears and the fault is eliminated.
