The three devices belonging to different rings in the server room each have a network cable connected to a HUB, and this HUB is connected to the network management computer. Problems are found when querying ECC routing, such as logging into a network element on the north ring to query ECC routing, and being able to connect to devices on the other rings, there is no fiber optic connection between the network elements, as mentioned earlier. The same situation was found with the other ring network elements. The extended ECC for the gateway network elements on the three rings is off, and under normal circumstances the network elements on these three rings cannot log in to each other.

Operation steps
- Check whether the fiber connection is incorrect. First, unplug the network cable from the Southwest Ring gateway network element to the HUB, log in to the North Ring network element to check the ECC route, at this time, you cannot connect to the network element on the Southwest Ring. Then unplug the network cable from the gateway network element of the Southeast Ring to the HUB, at this time, only the gateway network element of the North Ring accesses the network management on the HUB, log in to the North Ring network element to check the ECC route, at this time, it can not be connected to the network elements of the Southwest Ring and the Southeast Ring, so exclude the fault of the fiber optic connection.
- Check whether the extended ECC is configured.
- Check the OSI protocol status of the gateway network element. Since the OSN device supports the OSI communication protocol, which is currently turned on by default on the gateway, routes are established when the device is connected through the HUB. After turning off the OSI protocol on the gateway network element, the inter-subnet ECC cannot interoperate, and all network elements can only log in to this subnetwork element.
