The Huawei OSN2500 SSQ2CXL4 receives and transmits one STM-4 optical signal. Provides rich alarms and performance events for easy device management and maintenance. Supports VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 services and VC-4-4c cascade services. Supports I-4, S-4.1, L-4.1, L-4.2 and Ve-4.2 standard optical modules.


Huawei OSN2500 SSQ2CXL4Single Board Feature Code

The single-board characterization code is the code located after the single-board name in the single-board barcode.The single-board characterization code of CXL4 is used to describe the type of optical interface.

The relationship between the CXL4's single-board characterization code and the type of optical interface is shown in Table 1.

Introduces the fault phenomena that may occur in the operation of the veneer, and gives the basic ways of troubleshooting and precautions.

The common fault phenomena and processing methods of the CXL4 single board are shown in Table 1.

Service does not work
  • The logical board type does not match the single board type on the actual network element.
  • The service configuration is incorrect.
  • The operational status of other single boards on the network element is incorrect.

Clock tracking does not work
  • The clock source priority table is not configured correctly.

ECC not working
  • The operating status of the single board is abnormal.
  • Incorrect fiber connection.
  • Check whether the operation status of the single board is correct, refer to the single board indicator status description single board alarm indicator description.
  • Check whether the fiber connection is correct.
There is a power alarm The jumper setting for the device to use the input voltage is incorrect. Check that the jumper settings used to set the input voltage used by the device are correct, for jumper settings, refer to Dialing Codes and Jumpers.
Connection between the network management computer and the device failed
  • The network cable connecting the network management computer to the device is incorrect.
  • The IP addresses of the network management computer and the device are not in the same network segment.
