When you browse the alarm in the network management , select the alarm , and the related parameters of the alarm will be displayed in the "Alarm Details". Parameter 1 represents the actual optical port number of the board.
The Metro1000 IN_PWR_ABN alarm can be caused by the following reasons : the fiber is bent too much, the fiber head is not clean, the optical connector is loose or not inserted tightly, the sending part of the end station fails, or the receiving part of this station fails. The specific processing steps are as follows .
First, in the network management query on the station's receiving optical power. If the received optical power is too low , please clean the pigtail connector of this station and the receiving optical port of the circuit board , make sure that the fiber connector is tightly inserted , and check whether the Metro1000 device alarm is eliminated. If the alarm is not eliminated , check whether the bending radius of the pigtail fiber is less than 6cm, if the bending radius of the pigtail fiber is less than 6cm, please re-disk the pigtail fiber and check whether the alarm is eliminated. If the received optical power is too high , please add a suitable optical attenuator to the received optical port and check whether the alarm is canceled.
If the alarm is still not eliminated , please check whether the flange of this station is connected correctly , use the flange correctly, and clean the flange to see whether the alarm is eliminated.
If the alarm is still not eliminated , check whether the transmitter optical power of the opposite end station is normal on the network management. If it is not normal , replace the single board of the terminal station , and then check whether the alarm of Huawei Metro1000 equipment is canceled.
If the alarm is still not eliminated , clean the pigtail connector of the terminal station , make sure that the fiber connector is tightly inserted , and check whether the alarm is eliminated. If the alarm is still not canceled , check whether the flanges of the opposite end station are connected correctly , use the flanges correctly, and clean the flanges to see whether the alarm is canceled.
If the alarm is still not eliminated , it means that the veneer receiving part of this station is faulty , replace the faulty veneer of Metro1000 equipment in this station and check whether the alarm is eliminated.
