OSN2500 transmission equipment supports optical module types
The OSN2500 supports not only SFP and eSFP optical modules, but also single-fiber bidirectional optical modules. When the board is used with a single-fiber bidirectional optical module, a single fiber connected to that port can simultaneously transmit and receive optical signals, saving a significant amount of fiber resources.
**Note:** Different single-fiber bidirectional optical modules have different transmit and receive wavelengths. The two sites to be connected must use the same type of single-fiber bidirectional optical module.
