  • The FA16 H301CDI board (referred to as CDI board) is a 16-channel direct dial-in subscriber interface board, which realizes analog subscriber port pass-through.The CDI board utilizes digital-to-analog conversion between CDI ports and ASL ports, transparent transmission, and host signaling processing, and can realize transparent extension of the analog subscriber ports of other externally connected switches within the FA16 system.

Product Description

The H301CDI board (CDI board for short) is a 16-way direct dial-in user interface board.


FA16 H301CDI/A Working Principle

Main Functions and Principles The CDI board mainly accomplishes the function of direct dial-in, which is inserted in the slot of the user board, and each channel can dynamically occupy any one of the two HW time slots. It accomplishes the following functions.

Detect polarity;

Detecting feeder;

Dial-in function (double tone, pulse);

Dynamic occupation of time slots;

Detection of ringing current;

Detection of signaling tones;

Tap-fork transfer, etc.

The principle of CDI single board is shown in Fig. 1 and Fig. 2.

The basic principle of CDI single board is described as follows:

  • The control module controls the switching module while monitoring the status of the line module in real time to realize the management of the whole board.

  • The line module H301CDI provides 16-channel analog user interface externally and H601CDI provides 16-channel FXO interface externally to realize A/D and D/A conversion.

  • The switching module realizes the time slot switching function.

Indicator light blinks as follows when non-shielded puller bar:

Red light 0.5s on 0.5 off cycle blinking

Abnormal communication with the host

Red light 1s on 1s off cycle blinking

Normal work of the single board

Red light 0.125s on 0.125s off blinking 3s

Self-test did not pass

Indicator light blinks as follows when shielding the puller bar:

Green light 0.5s on 0.5 off cycle blinking

Abnormal communication with host

Green light 1s on 1s off cycle blinking

The single board is working normally

Green light 0.125s on 0.125s off blinking 3s

Self-test did not pass

CH0~CH15: Channel monitoring light

Green light is always on

Corresponding channel is occupied

Green light off

Corresponding channel is idle

The CDI interfaces are distributed on the backplane or the corresponding adapter board, and the interface descriptions are shown in Table 3 and Table 4.
