    Set the loopback status of the branch unit channel.

    • "No loopback" means to cancel or not to perform the loopback operation.
    • "Inside Loop Back " means to loopback the PDH signal sent to the opposite end.
    • "Outer Loop Back " means to loopback the received PDH signal.

    This function is generally used for branch unit individual channels to for fault localization. "Branch Loopback" is a diagnostic function, use of which will affect the service of the relevant port, so please use it with caution.

    Normally, the setting is "Do not loop back! ".

    Business Loading Instructions

    • Set as "loaded" detects alarms for this channel.
    • Set as "Do not load " when not detecting alarms for that channel.

    For the channel that has no service running on the branch unit If you want to block all the alarms of this channel, you should set the service loading indication of this channel as "Not loaded". The channel with business operation, the corresponding channel is set to "load".

    Re-timing method

    Normal mode, branching clock re-timing mode, cross clock re-timing mode

    Default value: Normal way

    Displays or sets the retiming method for the channel.

    The retiming function is to synthesize the timing reference signals from the digital synchronization network and service data signals are synthesized together and sent to the customer equipment, a method to reduce the signal output jitter. This is a way to synthesize a good timing reference signal with the business code stream signal so that the business code stream can pass the timing reference signal well.

    Re-timing method is supported only by E1 port.

    • Set to "Normal mode" when set to "normal mode", it means that the re timing function.
    • Set to "Branch clock re Timing Method" when it indicates that the retiming function is used by tracking the uplink branch clock.
    • Set to "Cross-clock re Timing Method" when it indicates that the retiming function is used by tracking the cross-clock method.

    It is recommended to try to provide external clock to the device by using external clock , without using the retiming feature.

    If you want to use re-timing, it is recommended to set the "Cross-clock retiming method".

    Set the port mode of the single board.

    Description:
    • 2M Optical Transmission Mode: encapsulate the C37.94 signals into VC12 directly for transmission. in the VC12 for transmission.
    • C37.94 de-framing mode: de-fragment the C37.94 signal according to the 64K granularity, and then repackage it into VC12 for transmission. Re-encapsulate into VC12 for transmission.
    • Switching the port mode will cause service interruption, please be careful.
