Huawei Optical Transmission Equipment OTN OSN8800 TN12LDX Technical Specifications

The TN12LDX single board supports OTN interfaces, ESC, and other functions and features.

The specific functions and features of the TN11LDX single board are shown in Table 1.

OTN function
  • Supports WDM side OTU2 interface.

  • Adopts ITU-T G.709 recommended frame format and overhead processing.

  • Supports PM and TCM functions at ODU2 layer, PM and TCM non-intervention monitoring functions.

  • Supports SM function of OTU2 layer.

Wavelength adjustable functionWavelength-side optical signals are adjustable within the 80-wave range of the C-band 50 GHz interval.
WDM Specifications

Supports DWDM specifications of ITU-T G.694.1.

ESC FunctionSupport
PRBS FunctionSupports PRBS function on customer side and WDM side.

Description:

The PRBS function is supported on the customer side only when accessing STM-64/OC-192, OTU2, and OTU2e services.

LPT Function

The LPT function is supported only when the service type on the customer side is 10GE LAN.

FEC Coding
  • FEC coding is supported on the customer side when accessing OTU2/OTU2e services, in accordance with ITU-T G.709 recommendations.

  • FEC coding is supported on the WDM side, complying with the recommendations of ITU-T G.709.

  • The WDM side supports AFEC-2 encoding in accordance with the recommendations of ITU-T G.975.1.

Description:

Veneers with different error correction coding cannot be docked.

Performance Surveillance and Alarm Monitoring
  • Provides BIP8 byte monitoring (burst mode) to locate line faults.

  • Provides B1 byte monitoring to locate line faults.

  • Supports OTN performance monitoring and alarm monitoring.

  • Provides the following monitoring functions: laser bias current monitoring, laser operating temperature monitoring, optical power monitoring, etc.

  • Provides Ethernet (10GE LAN) RMON monitoring function.

Relay board

WDM side signals of LDX single board can be relayed through other TN12ND2/TN52ND2/TN53ND2/TN57ND2/TN55NO2/TN55NH2/TN53NQ2/TN54NQ2/TN57NQ2 single boards.

Optix OSN8800 TN12LDX Wavelength Conversion Board Applications

The LDX board belongs to the optical wavelength conversion class of boards, which is used to realize the interconversion between two 10Gbit/s service signals mapped as OTU2/OTU2e signals and standard wavelength optical signals complying with the requirements of WDM systems.

The application of LDX single board in WDM system is shown in Figure 1.
