Huawei OTN WDM Equipment OSN8800 TN13M40V Technical Specifications

The M40V single board belongs to the photosynthesized waveform category, realizing the multiplexing of up to 40 standard wavelength optical signals complying with the requirements of the WDM system into a single combined waveform signal, and the input optical power of each channel can be adjusted.

The application of M40V single board in WDM system is shown in Figure 1.

The M40V single board supports functions and features such as multiplexing, online optical power monitoring, alarm and performance monitoring, and optical power adjustment.

The specific functions and features of the M40V single board are shown in Table 1.

Basic Functions

Realizes multiplexing up to 40 single-wavelength optical signals into 1 combined-wavelength optical signal, and can adjust the input optical power of each channel.

  • M40V01: multiplexes up to 40 even-wavelength optical signals into 1 combined-wavelength signal.

  • M40V02: Multiplexes up to 40 odd-wavelength optical signals into one combined signal.

Online Optical Power Monitoring

Provides an online monitoring optical port from which a small amount of optical signals can be output to a spectrum analyzer or a spectrum analyzer board to monitor the spectral and optical performance of the combined-wave optical signals without interrupting the service.

Alarm and Performance Monitoring

Provide optical power detection function and single-board alarm and performance event reporting function.

Optical power adjustment function

Provide optical power adjustment function for each single wavelength of optical signal before combining.

Description:

The TN13M40V veneer board supports the optical power adjustment function only when combined with the optical power intelligent equalization system software License. If there is no optical power intelligent equalization system software License, TN13M40V single board can only be used as M40 single board.
