Protection requirements

The current hardware versions of the OSN1800 TNF2LDX board are TNF1 and TNF2. For the 1800 I&II Compact, the logical board name of the TNF1LDX board on the network management is "F1LDX" or "F1LDX(STND)"; for the 1800 V, the logical board name of the TNF1LDX board on the network management is "F1LDX(STND)". "; for 1800 V, the TNF1LDX veneer boards have the logical veneer names "F1LDX (STND)" and "F1LDX (REG)" on the network management. the TNF2 veneer boards have the logical veneer names "F1LDX (STND)" and "F1LDX (REG)" on the network management. The TNF2 single board on the network management is named "F2LDX". The board supports fixed wavelength, OTN interface, ESC, and other functions and features. The single board consists of customer-side optical module, WDM-side optical module, service processing module, clock module, 1588v2 module, communication module, and power module. The replaced single board has only the function of the replaced TNF1LDX. the F1LDX, F1LDX (STND), and F2LDX single boards convert 2 service signals at the rate of 10 Gbit/s into 2 optical signals of OTU2 or OTU2e and into DWDM standard wavelengths conforming to the ITU-T G.694.1 recommendations or CWDM standard wavelengths conforming to the ITU-T G.694.2 recommendations. Recommended CWDM standard wavelength, and at the same time, the inverse process of the above conversion process can be realized WDM side supports dual transmitter-receiver selection, and the two services accessed by RX1/TX1 and RX2/TX2 are independent of each other, and RX1/TX1 corresponds to OUT1/IN1 and OUT2/IN2, and RX2/TX2 corresponds to OUT3/IN3 and OUT4/IN4. OUT1/IN1 and OUT3/IN3 are working channel ports, and OUT2/IN2 and OUT4/IN4 are protection channel ports.

Alarm and Performance Monitoring |
Provides B1, SM_BIP8 and PM_BIP8 byte monitoring, which can locate where the line is faulty. Provides the following WDM side monitoring functions: laser bias current monitoring, laser operating temperature monitoring, optical power monitoring, etc. Supports RMON performance monitoring for 10GE LAN service. |
Non-invasive Monitoring Function |
Supports non-invasive monitoring function of PM layer. |
FEC Type |
The WDM side supports both FEC and AFEC-2 modes. Description:
Veneers with different error correction codes cannot be docked. |
Service encapsulation method |
The 10GE LAN service adopts the encapsulation method of GFP-F and BMP. |
Synchronous Ethernet Function |
When 10GE LAN service is accessed on the client side and the "Port Service Mapping Path" is "Bit Transparent Mapping (11.1G)", it supports Synchronous Ethernet clock pass-through, and the clock quality meets the G.8261 standard. |

ALS Function |
When the WDM side or the customer side cannot receive the optical signal, the OTU board will turn off the laser on the customer side accordingly to avoid the laser harm to human body.
Description: Only the customer-side optical port supports the configuration of ALS function. |
ESC Function |
ESC function is supported to combine the monitoring information into the service channel for transmission. |
Crossover Function |
Supports the crossover function of ODU2 on the board. |
LPT Function |
Supports the link-through function for 10GE LAN services. |
PRBS test function |
Supports the generation and monitoring of PRBS signals for STM-64/OTU2/OTU2e/OC-192 services on the client side channel, and detects the status of the transmission line by comparing the transmit signal with the loopback signal. |
Interface Module |
The customer side supports SFP+ optical modules, and the WDM side supports TXFP and XFP pluggable optical modules. Description:
The WDM side interface supports black and white optical modules. |
