Protection requirements

The TN54NS3T01 single board belongs to the line class of single boards, realizing the interconversion of the following signals: 32 x ODU0/32 x ODUflex/16 x ODU1/4 x ODU2/1 x ODU31 x OTU3, 4 x ODU2e1 x OTU3e, or 256 x VC-41 x OTU3. OTU3/OTU3e are DWDM standard wavelengths in accordance with ITU-T recommendation G.694.1. G.694.1 recommendation for DWDM standard wavelengths.TN52NS3/TN54NS3/TN55NS3 support mixed transmission of ODU0, ODU1 and ODU2/ODU2e.TN56NS3 support mixed transmission of ODU0/ODU1/ODU2/ODU2e/ODUflex/VC-4.TN55NS3/ TN56NS3 uses coherent reception technology and is applied to coherent systems.
Description:TN54NS3/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 need to set the "Single Board Mode", and the "Single Board Mode" of this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode".
TN54NS3/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 need to set the "Single Board Mode", and the "Single Board Mode" of this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode".
This scenario is only supported by TN52NS3/TN54NS3/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 in OptiX OSN 8800.
TN52NS3/TN54NS3/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 need to set the "Single Board Mode", and the "Single Board Mode" of this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode".
TN54NS3/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 need to set the "Single Board Mode", and the "Single Board Mode" of this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode".
When used with TSXL, the "Line Rate" parameter of TN54NS3/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 single board must be set to "Standard Mode".
TN54NS3/TN55NS3 supports only relay mode in OptiX OSN 6800 subrack/OptiX OSN 8800 platform subrack/OptiX OSN 8800 universal platform subrack.
TN56NS3 supports only trunk mode in OptiX OSNOptiX OSN 8800 Universal Platform Subrack subrack.
TN54NS3/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 need to set the "Single Board Mode", which can be set to "Electric Relay Mode" or "Optical Relay Mode". For optical-layer ASON and electrical-layer ASON applications, setting "optical relay mode" and "electrical relay mode" has no effect on the system; for non-ASON applications, only "optical relay mode" can be set for end-to-end operation. For non-ASON applications, only "Optical Relay Mode" can be set for end-to-end management.
In this scenario, a pair of IN/OUT ports supports different input wavelengths and output wavelengths.
VC-4 can be mapped to ODU1 or ODU2.
When the single board is inserted in T64 subrack, it supports maximum 128xVC-4; when it is inserted in T32/T16 subrack, there is no such limitation.
When accessing SDH service, the single board does not support the time slot mode of "Auto Continuous", but only supports the mode of "Auto Random", so the single board that supports the mode of "Auto Random" should be used for docking. When docking, you need to use a single board that supports "Auto Random" mode.
The IN/OUT port supports hybrid transmission of ODU0, ODU1, ODU2/ODU2e, ODUflex, and VC-4 with a maximum bandwidth of 40 Gbit/s. Only the TN56NS3 supports hybrid transmission of ODUflex and VC-4.
Single boards with different time slot configuration methods cannot be docked. The "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter settings of the line boards at the two sites of the up and down services must be the same, and when the TN56NS3 board is docked with a board that does not support the setting of the "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter, the "ODU time slot configuration mode" needs to be set to "Auto Continuous". When the TN56NS3 board is interfaced with a board that does not support the setting of "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter, the "ODU time slot configuration mode" needs to be set to "Auto Continuous". For example, when TN56NS3 is interfaced with TN55NS3, since TN55NS3 does not support the setting of "ODU Slot Configuration Mode" parameter, the "ODU Slot Configuration Mode" parameter of TN56NS3 must be set to "Auto Continuous".
Only TN56NS3/TN54HUNS3 supports the setting of "ODU time slot configuration mode" parameter.
The NS3 board supports the functions and features of layer crossing, OTN interface, ESC, etc. The TN56NS3 board supports the mixed transmission of OTN and SDH services.
Only OptiX OSN 8800 supports ODU0/ODU3.
Only the TN54NS3/TN55NS3/TN56NS3 support trunk mode.
| Functions and Characteristics | Description | ||||
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Basic Functions |
The NS3 supports the conversion of the following signals:
TN52NS3/TN54NS3/TN55NS3 supports mixed transmission of ODU0, ODU1, ODU2 and ODU2e. TN56NS3 supports mixed transmission of ODU0/ODU1/ODU2/ODU2e/ODUflex/VC-4.
