    The OSN8800 TN12LTX/TN11LTX single board supports wavelength adjustable, OTN interface, ESC, and other functions and features.

    The specific functions and features of the TN12LTX 10-channel 10Gbit/s service aggregation wavelength converter board single board are shown in Table 1 and Table 2.

    • TN15LTX/TN17LTX: 10x 10GE LAN/10GE WAN/STM-64/OC-192/OTU2/OTU2e/FC1200/FC8001x OTU4

    10GE LAN: Ethernet service at a rate of 10.31 Gbit/s

    10GE WAN: Ethernet service at 9.95Gbit/s

    OTN function
    • Supports WDM side OTU4 interface.
    • Adopts ITU-T G.709 recommended frame format and overhead processing.
    • ODU2/ODU4/ODUflex layer: support PM and TCM function, non-intervention monitoring function for PM and TCM.
    • OTU2/OTU4 layer: support SM function.
    Description:
    Only TN15LTX/TN17LTX supports ODUflex layer; ODU2 layer of TN15LTX/TN17LTX supports TCM function and non-invasive monitoring function of TCM.
    WDM Specifications

    Supports DWDM specifications of ITU-T G.694.1.

    Wavelength adjustable function

    Wavelength-side optical signals are adjustable in the 80-wave range at 50 GHz intervals in the C-band.

    ESC Function

    Supported on the WDM side; supported on the customer side when accessing OTU2/OTU2e services.

    Description:

    ESC is supported when the client side of the single board accesses OTU2/OTU2e signaling, and ESC processing is not supported.

    When the ESC function is realized, the TN15LTX/TN17LTX client side supports access to a maximum of 6 signals.

    PRBS test function

    Customer side and WDM side support.

    Description:
    The PRBS function is supported on the customer side when accessing STM-64/OC-192/OTU2/OTU2e services.
    LPT Function. The LPT function is supported only when the service type of the customer side is 10GE LAN.
    Error Correction Coding
    • Customer side:

      When the TN12LTX accesses OTU2/OTU2e services, only the TX port on the customer side supports FEC coding, in accordance with the recommendations of ITU-T G.709.The RX port does not support FEC decoding.

      When TN15LTX/TN17LTX accesses OTU2/OTU2e services, the customer side supports FEC and AFEC coding.

    • WDM side:

      TN11LTX supports HFEC and SDFEC coding.

      TN12LTX supports HFEC, HFEC2 and SDFEC coding.

      TN15LTX/TN17LTX supports SDFEC2 encoding.

    Description:
    Veneers with different error correction codes cannot be docked.
    Alarm and Performance Monitoring
    • BIP8 byte monitoring (burst mode) is provided to locate line faults.
    • Provides B1 byte monitoring to locate line faults.
    • Supports OTN performance monitoring and alarm monitoring.
    • Provides the following monitoring functions: laser bias current monitoring, laser operating temperature monitoring, optical power monitoring, etc.
    • Provides Ethernet (10GE LAN) RMON monitoring function.
    • Support CD and PMD performance monitoring function.
    Relay Board
    The WDM side signal of LTX single board can be relayed by other LTX and NS4 single boards of the same type. For example:
    • LTX single board of type T01 can relay through other LTX, NS4 single boards of type T01. That is, the TN11LTXT01 veneer can be trunked through the TN54NS4, TN57NS4, TN11LTX and TN12LTX veneers of type T01.
    ALS Function

    Customer side support when accessing non-OTN services.

    Test Frames

    TN11LTX/TN12LTX: Not supported.

    TN15LTX/TN17LTX: Test frame is supported when 10GE LAN service is accessed and the port service mapping path is "MAC transparent mapping (10.7G)".

    Delay Measurement

    TN12LTX/TN15LTX/TN17LTX supports delay measurement function, which can measure the bidirectional delay of ODUk layer between two OTU boards, and the delay data will be displayed on the network management.

    Description:

    When OTU2/OTU2e services are accessed on the customer side, only TN17LTX supports TCM delay measurement, and other boards do not support delay measurement.

    Also only one port channel can be configured for delay measurement.

    IEEE 1588v2 does not support
    Physical Layer Clock When 10GE LAN service is accessed on the client side and the port service mapping path is "Bit Transparent Mapping (11.1G)", synchronous Ethernet pass-through is supported and synchronous Ethernet processing is not supported.

    Description:

    • TN15LTXT65/TN17LTXT65: T65 only supports relay applications with the same transceiver wavelength for non-ASON applications.
    • Other LTX single boards: the LTX supports different input and output wavelengths.


    LTX board belongs to the optical wavelength conversion class, which is used in the coherent system to realize the mapping of 10-channel 10GE LAN/10GE WAN/STM-64/OC-192/OTU2/OTU2e/FC1200/FC800 optical signals from the customer's side into 1-channel OTU4 signals, and the interconversion with standard wavelengths of optical signals in line with the requirements of the WDM system. The LTX single board can also be used in relay stations to realize the relay function of OTU4 optical signals.

    LTX single board WDM side rate of 100Gbit/s, used in 100G transmission system.LTX single board in the WDM system application as shown in Figure 1 and Figure 2.

    LTX needs to set the "Single Board Mode", and the "Single Board Mode" of this application scenario is: "Normal Line Mode".

    The LTX needs to set the "Single Board Mode", which can be set to "Electric Relay Mode" or "Optical Relay Mode". For optical-layer ASON and electrical-layer ASON applications, setting "Optical Relay Mode" and "Electrical Relay Mode" has no effect on the system; for non-ASON applications, end-to-end operation can only be performed if "Optical Relay Mode" is set. For non-ASON applications, only "Optical Relay Mode" can be set for end-to-end management.

    When LTX is used on 3800, it does not support relay mode.
