    The LQM2 single board supports wavelength conversion, service aggregation, ALS, and other functions and features.

    Description

    Basic Functions

    LQM2 single board supports four working modes, and the basic functions are as follows:
    • 1*AP8 ODU1 mode
      • 8xAny (125Mbit/s~2.5Gbit/s)<--> 1xOTU1
      • The wavelength division side interface supports dual transmitter-receiver selection.
      • ODU1 level mapping is supported.
    • 2*AP4 ODU1 mode
      • Two 4xAny (125Mbit/s ~ 2.5Gbit/s) <-> 2xOTU1
      • Supports ODU1 level mapping.
    • 2*AP2 ODU0 mode
      • Two groups of 2xAny (125Mbit/s to 1.25Gbit/s) <-> 2xOTU1
      • Both groups of WDM side interfaces support dual transmitter-selector-receiver.
      • ODU0 level mapping is supported.
    • 2*AP3 ODU1 mode
      • Two groups of 3xAny (125Mbit/s to 2.5Gbit/s) <-> 2xOTU1
      • Both groups of WDM side interfaces support dual transmitter-selector-receiver.
      • ODU1 level mapping is supported.

      • STM-1: SDH service at a rate of 155.52 Mbit/s.
      • STM-4: SDH service at a rate of 622.08 Mbit/s.
      • STM-16: SDH service at a rate of 2.488Gbit/s.
      • OC-3: SONET service at 155.52 Mbit/s.
      • OC-12: SONET service at 622.08 Mbit/s.
      • OC-48: SONET service at 2.488Gbit/s.
      • FE: Fast Ethernet service at a rate of 125 Mbit/s. Supports FE optical or electrical signals.
      • GE: Ethernet service at a rate of 1.25 Gbit/s. Supports GE optical or electrical signals.
      • ESCON: Enterprise System Connectivity service at 200 Mbit/s. Supports FE optical or electrical signals.

      • FC200: Fibre Channel service at a rate of 2.12 Gbit/s.
      • FICON: Fiber optic connection service at a rate of 1.06Gbit/s.
      • FICON EXPRESS: fiber-optic connection service at 2.12Gbit/s.
      • DVB-ASI: digital TV service at 270 Mbit/s.
      • SDI: Digital TV service at 270Mbit/s.
      • HD-SDI: High-definition digital TV service at a rate of 1.485Gbit/s.
      • CPRI option2: rate of 1.2288Gbit/s.
      • CPRI option3: rate of 2.4576Gbit/s.
    Description:

    According to the SMPTE 259M standard, "SDI" is also called "SD-SDI".

    Error correction coding

    The use of FEC coding in accordance with ITU-T G.975 recommendations improves the equivalent sensitivity of the transmission system and effectively extends the zone distance.

    Encapsulation Method

    LQM2:
    • Supports GFP-T and TTT-GMP (shown as GE (TTT-GMP) on the network management) encapsulation for GE services.
    • Supports GFP-F SLICE+BMP encapsulation for FE services.
    Non-Intervention Monitoring Function Support

    Alarm and performance monitoring

    Provides B1, SM_BIP8, PM_BIP8 byte monitoring, which can locate where the line is faulty.

    Provides the following WDM side monitoring functions: laser bias current monitoring, laser operating temperature monitoring, optical power monitoring, etc.

    Supports RMON performance monitoring for GE service and FE service.

    OTN Functions

    • Supports mapping of customer-side services to OTU1 signals.
    • Adopts ITU-T G.709 recommended frame format and overhead processing.
    • Supports GE signal mapping to OTU1 signaling, and the mapping processing meets ITU-T G.709 recommendations.
    • Supports PM function at ODU0 and ODU1 layers and SM function at OTU1 layer.

    Adjustable light attenuation

    The VO/VI interface of TNF2LQM2 single board can adjust the optical power of the signal on the wavelength division side of the single board by inserting and placing the SFP EVOA module, and the adjustable range is 0dB to 20dB.

    ALS Function

    When the WDM side or the customer side cannot receive the optical signal, the OTU board will turn off the laser on the customer side accordingly to avoid the laser harm to human body.
    Description:
    Only the customer-side optical port supports the configuration of ALS function.

    Crossover Function

    • In-board crossover:
      • The single board supports the crossover function for Any optical service at a rate of 1.25 Gbit/s or less in 1*AP8 ODU1 mode and 2*AP4 ODU1 mode.
    • Inter-board crossover:
      • Not supported.
    Attention:

    The LQM2 customer side can connect GE and FE electrical services, which cannot be crossed and can only be configured as straight-through.

    LPT Function

    Supports the link-through function for GE/FE/FC100/FC200 services.

    PRBS test function

    Supports the generation and monitoring of PRBS signals for GE/STM-1/OC-3/STM-4/OC-12/STM-16/OC-48 services on the client side channel, and detects the status of the transmission line by comparing the transmit signal with the loopback signal.

    WDM Specifications

    Supports DWDM specifications in accordance with ITU-T G.694.1 and CWDM specifications in accordance with ITU-T G.694.2.
