The PQM single board supports E1/T1 signal processing, overhead processing, alarm and performance events, maintenance features, and TPS protection.

The specific functions and features of the PQM single board are shown in Table 1.

Functions and Features	Description
Basic Functions	Processes 63 E1/T1 signals.
Service Processing	Together with the outgoing board, 63 channels of E1/T1 electrical signals can be accessed and processed, and each channel can be configured individually as E1 or T1.
Overhead processing	Supports the processing of channel overhead at the VC-12 level, such as J2 byte.
Alarm and Performance	Provides rich alarms and performance events for easy device management and maintenance.
Maintenance Features	Supports the inner loopback and outer loopback functions of the electrical interface. Supports soft reset and hard reset, soft reset does not affect the service. Support the query function of veneer manufacturing information. Support FPGA online loading function. Support smooth upgrade of veneer software. Supports PRBS function, see Availability. Support CRC function.
Protection Mode	Support TPS protection in conjunction with the outlet board. When the working board is N1PQ1, the protection slot can insert N1PQ1, N2PQ1 or N1PQM for mixed protection. When the working board is N1PQM, the protection slot can only plug N1PQM.
