OSN3500 SSN1SL1A has only one N1 hardware version, and supports the adoption of N1SL1A instead of N1SL1. the single board laser security level is CLASS 1. the single board does not support two-fiber bi-directional multiplexing segment protection networking. The maximum output optical power of the single board optical port is less than 10dBm (10mW). The single board consists of photoelectric conversion module, data clock recovery unit, SDH overhead processing module, logic control module and power supply module. The optical interface board belongs to the line veneer and realizes the reception and transmission of STM-1 optical signals. The received optical signals are sent to the cross side through SSN1SL1A after O/E conversion, while the electrical signals from the cross side are sent out after E/O conversion. Dimensions of the single board: 25.4mm(W)×235.2mm(D)×261.4mm(H), Weight: 1.0kg, Maximum power consumption of the single board at room temperature (25°C) is 17W.

The following parameters can be set for the sl1a single board through the u2000 network management: j0, j1, and c2 overhead bytes. The single board can be inserted in slots 1~8, 11~17 of the subrack when the cross capacity is 80Gbit/s and 200Gbit/s. When the cross capacity is 40Gbit/s, it can be inserted in slots 1~8, 11~16 of the subrack.
