The SFD64 single board supports functions and features such as receiving and transmitting 2xSTM-64 optical signals, overhead processing, and so on.

The specific functions and features of the SFD64 single board are shown in Table 1.

Functions and Features	Description
Basic Functions	Receive and transmit 2-channel STM-64 optical signals. Supports enabling and disabling of FEC function.
Optical Interface Specifications	Supports optical interfaces conforming to the system specifications of Ue-64.2c, Ue-64.2d, and Ue-64.2e. The optical interfaces of Ue-64.2c, Ue-64.2d, and Ue-64.2e are Huawei customized standards. It supports standard wavelength output in accordance with ITU-T G.692 recommendations, and can directly access WDM equipment. Supports DWDM color optical interface, and the optical interface adopts LC connector. 40km transmission distance is supported by DWDM optical interface.
Optical Module Specifications	Supports the use and monitoring of XFP optical modules, which facilitates the maintenance and upgrading of optical modules. Support optical module information detection and query. The optical interface provides laser on and off settings and laser auto shutdown function.
Service Processing	Support VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 services and VC-4-4c, VC-4-8c, VC-4-16c, VC-4-64c cascade services.
Overhead processing	Supports segment overhead processing for STM-64 signals. Supports processing of channel overhead (transparent transmission and termination). Supports setting and querying of J0/J1/C2 bytes. Supports 2-way ECC communication.
Alarm and Performance	Provides rich alarm and performance events for easy device management and maintenance.

Protection Mode	Supports two-fiber multiplexing segment ring protection. Supports quad-fiber multiplexed segment ring protection. Supports linear multiplexing segment protection. Supports SNCP protection. Supports SNCMP protection. Support SNCTP protection. Supports shared fiber virtual path protection. Supports shared optical path protection for multiplexed segments. Each optical port provides 2 sets of Kbytes of processing capacity, and 1 SFD64 supports up to 4 MSP rings.
Maintenance Features	Supports inner loopback and outer loopback functions at the optical port level. Supports VC-4 channel inner loopback and outer loopback functions. Support soft reset and hard reset, soft reset does not affect the service. Support the query function of veneer manufacturing information. Support FPGA online loading function.
