The SF64A single board supports functions and features such as receiving and transmitting 1-channel STM-64 optical signals and overhead processing.

The specific functions and features of the SF64A single board are shown in Table 1.

Functions and Features	Description
Basic Functions	Receive and transmit 1 channel STM-64 optical signal. Supports enabling and disabling of FEC function.
Optical Interface Specifications	Supports optical interfaces that conform to the system specifications of Ue-64.2c, Ue-64.2d, and Ue-64.2e. The optical interfaces of Ue-64.2c, Ue-64.2d, and Ue-64.2e are Huawei customized standards. It supports standard wavelength output in accordance with ITU-T G.692 recommendations, supports DWDM wavelength adjustability, and can directly access DWDM equipment. Supports DWDM color optical interface, and the optical interface adopts LC connector. 40km transmission distance is supported by DWDM optical interface.
Optical module specifications	Support optical module information detection and query. The optical interface provides laser on and off setting and laser auto shutdown function.
Service Processing	Support VC-12/VC-3/VC-4 services and VC-4-4c, VC-4-8c, VC-4-16c, VC-4-64c cascade services.
Overhead processing	Supports segment overhead processing for STM-64 signals. Supports processing of channel overhead (transparent transmission and termination). Supports setting and querying of J0/J1/C2 bytes. Supports 1 channel ECC communication.
Alarm and Performance	Provides rich alarm and performance events for easy device management and maintenance.
REG Specifications	Supports the setting and querying of REG operating mode. In REG mode, the veneer is in regenerative segment loopback mode, and only the regenerative segment overhead and FEC overhead are handled.
Protection Mode	Supports various protection modes such as 2-fiber multiplexed segment loopback protection, 4-fiber multiplexed segment loopback protection, linear multiplexed segment protection, SNCP protection, SNCTP and SNCMP. Support MSP and SNCP shared optical path protection. Provides 2 sets of Kbyte processing capacity, one SF64A board supports up to 2 MSP rings.
Maintenance Features	Supports inner loopback and outer loopback functions at the optical port level. Supports VC-4 channel inner loopback and outer loopback. Supports soft reset and hard reset, soft reset does not affect the service. Support query function of single board manufacturing information. Support FPGA online loading function. Support smooth upgrade of veneer software. Support one-button data acquisition.
