Optix OSN1500 Creating TPS Protection Groups for Single Boards

TPS protection is used to provide redundant backup protection for a single board, so that when the protected board fails, the services of that single board will be inverted to the protected board.

Prerequisites

The user has "Network Element Operator" or higher privileges as a network administrator.

Work and protection boards have been properly installed.

Operating Procedure

Click on the network element in the Network Element Manager and select Configuration > TPS Protection in the Function Tree.

Click New to bring up the Create TPS Protection Group dialog box.

Select the protection board and work board, and set the priority in the work board list.

Set the waiting time for recovery.

Click OK.
