H303PV8 Configuring the Remote Cascade User Box Example


HONET H303PV8 In this example, the UA5000 cascades the remote PV8 through the EDTB single board, and the PV8 then cascades the RSP, realizing three levels of equipment cascading, distancing the service transmission distance, and expanding the capacity of access users.


Prerequisite

  • The data on the MGC side is configured correctly.
  • The E1 cable is connected correctly.
  • The MG interface has been configured (see "Configuring the MG Interface" for details).
  • The PV8/PV4 single board and A32 user board have been added to the PV8 user box, and the RSP single board and A32 user board have been added to the RSP user box.

Background Information

  • EDTBs can be plugged into slots 6 to 17 of the HABA or HABD service frame, slots 12 to 17 of the HABC service frame, and slots 6 to 11 of the HABL service frame. A maximum of 6 EDTBs can be plugged into one frame and must be plugged into 6 consecutive slots.
  • The MG interface parameters must be consistent with the MGC.
  • The working mode of the EDTB single board must be independent working mode, and the system defaults to independent working mode.
