Basic Functions Handle 8-channel FE service
Interface Type
  • Support 10Base-T/100Base-TX when used with ETF8.
  • Support 100Base-FX/LX/VX/ZX in conjunction with EFF8, meeting IEEE 802.3u standard.
  • N5EFS0 supports 100Base-TX when used with ETF8A.

  • Support source MAC address self-learning function, MAC address table size is 16K, support MAC address aging time setting and query.
  • Supports static MAC routing configuration.
  • N4EFS0/N5EFS0 supports dynamic MAC address query.
  • The maximum number of VBs supported is 16, and the maximum number of logical ports per VB is 30.
  • Supports querying the number of actual learned MAC addresses by VB+VLAN or VB+LP.

VCTRUNK Specifications
Quantity:
  • The number of VCTRUNKs for N1EFS0 is 12.
  • The number of VCTRUNK for N2EFS0/N4EFS0/N5EFS0 is 24.

Configuration features:

  • After the VC channel of each level is used by one VCTRUNK binding, other VCTRUNKs can no longer be used.
  • VCTRUNK1 to VCTRUNK12 are required to be bound for use when the bandwidth of the N2EFS0/N4EFS0/N5EFS0 slot is 622 Mbit/s.
  • VCTRUNK1 to VCTRUNK12 of N1EFS0/N2EFS0/N4EFS0 can only bind channels of 1 to 4 VC-4, and VCTRUNK13 to VCTRUNK24 can only bind channels of 5 to 8 VC-4.
  • The two VC-4s, 4 and 8, can be bound to both VC-3 and VC-12 channels, while the other VC-4s can only be bound to VC-3 channels.
  • The same VCTRUNK can only be bound to one level of channel, it cannot be bound to both VC-12 channels and VC-3 channels.

N4EFS0/N5EFS0 is supported to realize dynamic increase, dynamic decrease and protection function of bandwidth, which meets ITU-T G.7042 standard.

LPT N1EFS0/N2EFS0 support point-to-point LPT, and N4EFS0/N5EFS0 support point-to-point LPT and point-to-multipoint LPT, meeting Huawei's internal protocol standards.

OptiXOSN2500 provides a variety of single boards with Ethernet switching functions to realize different Ethernet service requirements.
