Problem Description
When a customer does OSN3500 cross-master-standby reversal test, after reversing the cross board to No. 9 ssn1uxcsa as the primary at site 134, the 8-N3SL16-1 single board 1/2/3/4 channels at this site report HP-RDI, and at the same time, the 7-N3SL16-1 single board at the downstream site 132 reports AU-AIS, and the service is interrupted. The device version is 5.21.17.12. the customer is re-inverted back to the 10th service is resumed.

2. Test the No.9 single board spare board for anomalies such as pin reversal. Replace another piece of cross try.

The engineer finally troubleshoots the problem by replacing the N3SL16A veneer board.

Root cause
As the line veneer for the N3SL16A veneer, a single bus rate of 622M, 1/2/3/4 channel is exactly the first bus, so the suspicion is that 134 network elements on the first bus failure of the 9 slot cross board to the 8 SL16 veneer, or veneer chip failure caused by the failure of the bus connection with the 9 veneer.
