Uniformly defining such clock sources as unavailable clocks can avoid network elements from tracking the wrong clock sources. At the same time, for clock sources assigned to the network element, the network element will automatically extract its quality information, so you only need to define the quality level of the clock during testing and maintenance.

The specific procedure for customizing the quality level of clock sources onHuawei OSN1500is as follows:

Select the network element in the Network Element Manager, and in the function tree, select Configuration > Clock > Physical Layer Clock > Clock Subnet Settings. Select the "Clock Quality" tab. Click Query to query the existing parameter settings. Select the Clock Source Quality tab and set the Configuration Quality to the desired level. In general, use the default "Auto Extract".

Click Apply. Click Close in the pop-up Operation Result dialog box.You can manually specify the level of the clock source with a quality level of zero in theHuawei OSN1500device system. Select the Manual Settings for Zero Quality Level tab, and set the Manual Settings for Zero Quality Level to the desired level. Click Apply. Click Close on the Result dialog box that pops up.

The interface entry is to select Configuration > Network Element Batch Configuration > Clock Operation in the main menu.
