Due to a user's misconfiguration, he mistakenly purchased the OSN350 SSN1ETS8 interface board, and would like to confirm whether he can use the SSN1ETS8 to replace the SSN1ETF8 for the SSN5EFS0 interface board.

1. Comparing the functional block diagrams of OSN3500SSN1ETS8 and SSN1ETF8 interface boards, you can find that there is an additional switch matrix module in ETS8.

2. In the receiving direction, the switching matrix module accesses the signal from the interface module and selects the output direction of the signal according to the TPS protection control signal of the cross board. When no TPS occurs, the switching matrix module sends the signal to the EFS0 single board, whose role is exactly the same as that of EFT8.

3, N1EFS0A board does not support TPS protection, so it can not be used with ETS8, otherwise it will prompt the error message "Interface board type mismatch".

4、For N1EFS0 board which does not support TPS protection, it can not be used with ETS8 board, otherwise it will prompt "interface board type mismatch" error.

5、For N2EFS0 and other single boards that support TPS protection, ETS8 can completely replace ETF8 to be the interface board of the corresponding Ethernet board, of course, if there is an EFT8, then give priority to using ETF8 to be the interface board of the EFS0 single board.
